Paetyn's First Valentines Day

The 3 of us went to Joe's Crab Shack for dinner and while Paetyn ate Cheerios Rick and I started with this...It was so yummy... Paetyn had a blast, even though she could not eat the great food with us, she danced in her highchair the entire time!!! It was a great time we spent together...

Appliance Day!!!

Feb. 12, 2011 - Rick and I got all new kitchen appliances today... Thanks to our tax return. It is so nice to finally have a dishwasher that will clean my dishes!!! And I am totally crazy about the fridge too, It is amazing all the leftovers I can fit in it!

Paetyn Layne is 10 months old today... She loves to play with toys all the time now, she loves her books and blocks the most! Paetyn is crawling all the over the place and loves to laugh and be happy. She is my favorite little buddy and I am so thankful to have her in my life..

Rick came home today and I couldn't be happier!!! 3 months was a long time to be apart...

Halloween

Paetyn and I visited Dad and we were even able to all go trick or treating together even though Rick was still in the hospital... all the patients handed out candy!!! It was great fun and Paetyn was the cutest lady bug ever...

But we did try to be as happy as we could...

The Worst Day Ever

August 12, 2010 -

Rick was in a horrible head on collison while on his way home tonight!!! He was driving our car that we got the month before (which I am so thankful for because it saved his life) and someone crossed over into his lane and hit him goiing at least 55 mph! He was of course rushed to the hospital and I thought I would never get to the hospital to see him. It took forever to get there... my Mom was super great and came and got me, but than I had to drop off my 4 month old baby at my sisters before getting to the hospital. Shortly after I got there he went in for emergency surgery to repair a destroyed artery in his leg, to set his broken femur bone and to hopefully save his leg. There were other injuries aswell, a broken arm and a fratured back... the surgery went well... the leg was saved!!! Before he came home (which was 3 months later) he had 3 more surgeries... Paetyn and I are so thankful and grateful to our Heavenly Father for letting him still be with us today!!!

The Start

I have been wanting to make a blog about my awesome little family for a long while now, but due to life events I have not been able to find the extra time to do so... Well since I don't want to start blogging about today I'm going to go back in time a little bit, I'm going to start the day that our little daughter was born... April 2, 2010!!!

Paetyn Layne Galloway was born by c-section at 9:47 am, weighing 8 lbs. 9 oz. and 21 3/4 inches long!!!
