Paetyn has been asking to learn how to read the past little while and I thought we would give it a shot and see how it goes... today her new reading supplies came and she was so excited to open them all up and get started. I could not get the box open quick enough for her... Unfortunatly for her reading has been put on hold for a bit to finally get her potty trained!

and I finished Paetyn's mini makeover on her dresser today.. nothing super huge, I just repainted the knobs!

Paetyn and I are learning about gardens and how flowers and plants grow in preschool right now! She was so excited to plant her own seeds and watch them grow big big big!

Birds Of Prey

the 3 of us hopped in the car today and decided to see some birds at Birds of Prey... the condors were huge, you can not really tell by the picture, but believe me huge!

 Paetyn has been wanting to walk over a bridge for months and asks all the time to do so... well today was the day! we walked over one... right over some water!

and then we were done and went home...

what a super fun day!... We drove and drove with no idea of where to go and ended up having a fantastic lunch at the Boise Fry Company... and look what Paetyn found.

 I got some purple french fries with blueberry ketchup!!! the hamburger was pretty good too... after lunch we headed across the street to the neatest candy store - Powell's!

Paetyn had an amazing time looking at EVERYTHING! She thought it was the coolest place ever... she even watched some of the movie Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory while there in fun theater seats...

later that day I even had time to plant our new plants (all 8 of them)...

Paetyn and I needed to make a trip to Desseret Book today and on the way we decided to stop at the Boise temple on the way! And just run around the Temple grounds and enjoy the great spring weather (finally it is nice outside)!

Paetyn, of course, had to being some friends along...

Aquarium! 

We had a fun family day at the Idaho Aquarium after Paetyn's haircut...

 We all had so much fun, especially Paetyn... she enjoyed petting the starfish and fish, but not the sting rays because she thought they were scary! She loved being able to play in the water with all the fishies and running around looking at all the cool new things! She can not wait to go back some day and asks to go everyday!
